American Canyon Middle School students will be presenting their play, The Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery this Friday and Saturday. The show is about actors rehearsing for their British murder mystery for opening night. However, every time there is a blackout another individual is found with a fire poker in their chest. Whodunit?

Students began rehearsing in February days after winning medals in a statewide Theatre competition for middle school students in Sacramento. Students performed monologues, poems, and scenes. Lydia Benton and Arianna Ciampi won gold for their scene, as well as silver for their monologues/original work. Libby Ojeda, Natalie Schofield, Alyssa Trocio, Naomi Fetty, Samantha Becvar all won bronze for their original works, monologues, scenes, and songs performed for the competition.

If you would like to see the show tickets are $4.50 in advance, and $6 at the door. You can reserve tickets by going to the show’s website: goo.gl/J6lbZl. The show will be this Friday and Saturday at American Canyon High School, 3000 Newell Drive-doors open at 6:30 and show begins at 7:00 p.m.
